He handled multi-million dollar losses for major steel manufacturers and led a cross-border $100 million hurricane claim. In 2014, Lewis moved to Calgary and broadened his expertise to include major construction losses, such as Course of Construction and Wrap-Up Liability, while also serving as the control adjuster for all Equipment Breakdown claims across Alberta's hospitals. In 2019, Lewis completed his MBA and went on to open the Edmonton branch for a national adjusting firm in 2020. In 2021, he was appointed to lead the Western Region for Canada's largest adjusting firm, continuing to manage complex construction and infrastructure claims. After gaining valuable experience on the brokerage side managing major energy and power programs, Lewis has returned to the independent adjusting field as a Partner with Apex, bringing a well-rounded perspective and a strong track record in handling technical, large-loss files.
