Hughes graduated with honours from University of Toronto's Geology Department, specializing in petroleum exploration. His interests in business lead him to a National Claims Adjusting firm, where he focused on commercial claims adjusting. For more than a decade he developed technical & management skills, business operations & client services. After securing his CIP, & participating on the Ontario Insurance Institute Licensing Panel, his professional profile & reputation, provided for a new opportunity. A new & smaller National Adjusting firm that had ambitions of expansion & improvements, placed Jeff into a new territory for development. After opening a successful chain of locations across Ontario, he moved into various national roles & ultimately became an Executive Vice President, running Business Development. He obtained his Certificate as a Sales Professional & continued to work collaboratively with Operations to grow the company & become the largest in Canada. He worked as part of the Senior Executive group to help develop Strategic Plans & Corporate Organization. He sat on various Advisory Committees & contributed on proposals to the Board of Directors. After three decades of experience in the industry & having prior minority ownership in the business, Jeff desired to have his own company. He partnered with GTA Adjusters to again experience the enjoyment of growing his own book of business with clients that he can work with collaboratively. Joining OMNIA helped provide him with the security & benefits it offers as well as a more rewarding involvement in the industry. In his role as VP of BD & Marketing, he continues to seek out clients that can enjoy the superior products he makes available. <<Back
